Fengwei Town has a profound history and culture and rich tourism resources. There are 7 cultural relics protection units at or above the district level in Fengwei Town, which are located in Chengfeng, Chengping and Guocuo villages respectively. The unique Guifeng culture, Beiguan music and ancient ship model making skills are valuable intangible cultural heritage in this area. Guifeng culture has a long history and rich accumulation. There are a number of cultural landscapes such as Guifeng Pagoda, Dongyue Temple, Yilie Temple and Yongquan Society, as well as a number of ancient buildings and former residences of celebrities waiting for research and appraisal. In 2006, the Guifeng Culture Research Association, which specializes in the study of Guifeng culture, was awarded an excellent civil society by the Provincial Civil Affairs Department. Fengwei is also a natural tourist attraction, and the five Caspian Sea sand tourist resort is about to be developed, and the twelve natural scenes are dazzling. Fengwei Beiguan Music has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage protection project. The establishment of Beiguan performance education base and village-level Beiguan Association has deepened the protection of Beiguan.
