The National Unified Entrance Examination for Colleges and Universities, referred to as the College Entrance Examination, is a selective examination for qualified high school graduates in People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) or candidates with equivalent academic qualifications. Ordinary colleges and universities are selected according to candidates' scores and established enrollment plans, and their morality, intelligence and physique are comprehensively measured.
The college entrance examination is organized and dispatched by the Ministry of Education, and the examination center of the Ministry of Education or the provincial education examination institutes that implement independent propositions order examination questions. The examination date is June 7th and 8th every year. Due to the different examination systems in some provinces and cities, the examination time is 3 days.

1998' s national examination is still in the form of 3+2, that is, Chinese, mathematics and English are required to be tested, then liberal arts students take political history and science students take physical chemistry. A pure physics test paper is 150, and so is chemistry history and politics.
