Qin Jian, who studied under Professor Zhang Xigeng, is a member of China Calligraphers Association, a full-time calligrapher of Changshu Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a top 100 young calligraphers in China in 2006, a top 100 young calligraphers in China in 2008, the second prize in the top 100 China Calligraphy List on 20 10 (fourth place), an outstanding calligrapher of Jiangsu Calligraphy Research Institute, a member of the Calligraphy Professional Committee of Jiangsu Education Society, and the founder and executive director of Qinchuan Youth Center.
