Responsible for secretarial, confidential, archives, letters and visits, confidentiality, security, information and logistics management; Responsible for overall management, external publicity and open government affairs; Responsible for organizing the compilation of educational yearbooks and educational records; Responsible for handling NPC proposal and CPPCC proposal; Responsible for rejuvenating the country through science and education.

Main functions of the organization:

(a) fully implement the education policy of the party and the state, and implement the national and provincial laws and regulations on education. To study and formulate the administrative measures related to education in this county, and organize their implementation.

(two) study the strategic thinking of the county's education development, overall planning, coordination and guidance of the county's education system and school-running system reform. To study and formulate the county-wide education development plan and annual plan, and guide, coordinate and organize their implementation.

(three) comprehensive management of the county's basic education, vocational education, adult education, higher education and social forces to run schools, literacy and other work. To guide and coordinate the education work of the relevant departments of the county. Responsible for education supervision, inspection and evaluation.

(four) planning, coordinating and guiding the teaching reform of various schools; Responsible for guiding the development of educational scientific research and teaching research; Guide the comprehensive reform of education in our county.

(five) in accordance with the management authority, responsible for the establishment, cancellation, merger and professional setting of various schools in this county; Coordinate and guide social forces to run schools.

(six) in conjunction with the relevant departments to formulate policies to raise education funds, allocate education funds and invest in education infrastructure; Co-ordinate arrangements for the county's education surcharge and special funds for education; Check and guide the use of school education funds in conjunction with relevant departments; Supervise and audit the education funds of subordinate units.

(seven) responsible for publicity and education policies and regulations; To guide the ideological and moral education, physical education, health, art and national defense education in schools; Responsible for the high school graduation exam.
