Report on hometown investigation

In order to find out an event or a situation, we need to investigate in an innovative spirit, and the final result will be recorded in the investigation report. Let's refer to how the investigation report was written. The following is a survey report on my hometown compiled by me for your reference only. Let's have a look.

Investigation Report on Hometown 1 Hometown is a place that we are so familiar with, even if we are in a foreign land, we will have a warm sense of belonging. Tongliang, my hometown, is an educational county in Chongqing. It is not only strong in teaching, but also the birthplace of dragon culture for 5 thousand years.

She has never left her hometown from birth to college, and she feels so familiar. But only after half a year, when I set foot on Longxiang's land again, I felt that she was so strange. In fact, driven by the rapid economic development, the changes in my hometown are changing with each passing day. What people used to think or watch on TV has now come true. In order to know more about this land that witnessed my growth, I visited every corner of Tongliang and related departments in the winter vacation and conducted an in-depth investigation.

The results of the survey really surprised me. The changes in my hometown involve a wide range, and it is really not clear in a few words. Here is a brief introduction to my findings.

First, the house is comfortable and exquisite.

"Housing is the key to a well-off society." The most intuitive and obvious change in the improvement of living standards in county towns is the great improvement of housing conditions. Copper beams were buildings a few years ago, and elevators were "high-grade houses". Now the houses in the city are basically rebuilt. The newly renovated houses are mainly elevators, and the floors are all above eight floors. The ground floor is a shop that is convenient for citizens to do business, and the second floor is a suite for family use. This design concept is in line with the development of the county. While doing business to promote economic development, the suite also gives citizens a convenient and beautiful living environment. According to the introduction of the government, at that time, considering that the building should not only be a "cave dwelling" of reinforced concrete buildings, but also reflect the culture of the county seat, designers were specially invited to combine the convenient and simple modern living room with the soft classicism contained in the county seat to design the present street-facing building. The flat slate is elegant and refreshing, the dark gray glazed tiles are low-key and exquisite, and the scarlet columns are classical. This design, which combines classical and modern, quietly shows the tranquility and harmony of the county seat to the fullest.

Second, economic diversification of "increasing revenue and reducing expenditure"

My hometown is also called "Dragon Town", where there is a world-famous dragon dance. The development of Dragon Dance has promoted the prosperity of Tongliang tourism and made Longxiang people get a lot of income. Moreover, many enterprises have decided to settle in Tongliang Industrial Park, which gives many migrant workers around the county a job opportunity. At the same time, the education of Tongliang has a subtle influence on Tongliang's economy, and the rapid rise of real estate enterprises has stimulated the rapid development of Tongliang's economy from all aspects.

Third, "extending in all directions" emphasizes convenient transportation and fast communication.

"If you want to get rich, build roads first." When it comes to economic development measures, we always think of this sentence. It is undeniable that this sentence accurately tells the importance of transportation to the development of a region.

Copper beams lack rivers, so land is the only mode of transportation. Recognizing its importance, in recent years, Tongliang government has stepped up efforts to do practical things for the people and made great efforts in road construction. The road network extends in all directions and the traffic conditions have been greatly improved. Several main streets of Tongliang have been widened, taking into account the roads and facilitating the driving of heavy trucks. In order to facilitate contact with the outside world, the government has set up an expressway exit on the edge of the town after many petitions and struggles. This export can benefit the people of Tongliang a lot, which not only saves the time for citizens to travel and transport goods, but also makes this county a transit point from nearby counties to Suining Chongqing, which promotes the economic development and prosperity here.

Fourth, "colorful", rich in culture and entertainment.

Material and spirit always complement each other and cannot be neglected. With the improvement of material life, people pay more and more attention to the construction of spiritual civilization life. The colorful entertainment activities in the county are the best testimony of their spiritual civilization construction. Now, every night, under the starry night sky, you are dancing in the streets of Zheng Tong with cheerful music. This is a new entertainment for citizens, regardless of gender, age and so on, as long as they are willing to join. Without a fixed teacher, everyone learns from each other and dances some simple dance music, but it doesn't affect happiness. Many citizens have also developed the habit of doing morning exercises. Every morning, many people are running and doing exercises in the park. Defend your health in the simplest, healthiest and most environmentally friendly way. In addition to these spontaneous activities, the county government will regularly hold some friendly activities such as tug-of-war and race, and will also issue prizes to guide citizens to choose healthy entertainment to enrich our lives.

Five, "colorful" clothes love fashion.

In the past, economic conditions were limited, although many people who loved beauty could not buy many clothes. Nowadays, countless clothing stores in the county are a good example of clothing changes. With the development of economy, people pay attention to clothes, and the style, fabric and brand of clothes become the focus of choosing clothes, instead of paying attention to quality and durability as in the past. Many rich people will also choose Chengdu, Chongqing and other big cities to buy fashion clothes. All kinds of clothes, shoes, hats and decorations can be described as colorful, which decorate the beauty of citizens and their mood at the same time.

Investigation testimony

I was deeply shocked by the results of this survey. Inadvertently, so many changes have taken place in my hometown Become more lovely and charming. I firmly believe that she is the rising sun in Ran Ran on the horizon, which will shine more warmly under the guidance of the Party and the government to illuminate people who have been guarding her, and will also warm her wandering heart in other places.

Hometown Survey Report 2 I. Purpose, Significance and Methods of the Survey

In order to know more about rural education in my hometown, I conducted a survey on "rural primary and secondary education problems" in my hometown. This survey is mainly conducted in the form of interviews and discussions. We visited three primary and secondary schools, including 25 primary school students, 34 junior high school students, teachers and principals 19. Through investigation, we can understand the views of rural teachers, students and parents on education and their overall education situation, and further think about the development direction and mode of rural education in China.

Second, the basic situation of the investigation

(A) Teaching problems

In rural areas, nine-year compulsory education can no longer meet the educational requirements of the vast majority of parents and students, who want to go to high schools and universities. 62.5% of parents want their children to get a college degree or above. When answering the reasons for the increase, 64. 18% students chose because they like reading, and only 3.49% students chose because their parents asked. It seems that, in fact, quite a few students and parents have realized the importance of education.

Children are eager for knowledge, and the countryside also needs talents and technology. But from the survey, there are many problems in rural primary and secondary education, mainly including the following aspects:

1. The shortage of public education funds leads to poor school conditions and benefits. The leaders in charge of education pay insufficient attention to quality education, the teaching facilities are simple, and the teaching methods of teachers are relatively old, which seriously affects the implementation of quality education.

2. The teaching staff is unstable and the overall quality is not high.

3. The ideology is backward, and the educational value tends to be diversified, pragmatic and utilitarian. None of the children in the survey said that they would go back to their hometown in the future.

4. Teaching content and teaching methods are divorced from rural reality, and talent training is incompatible with rural economic and social development.

(B) the problem of teachers

The survey found that a considerable number of teachers were dissatisfied with their lives (5 1.8%) and relatively dissatisfied (7.8%), and felt great pressure. I summed it up for the following reasons:

1. Unreasonable setting of rural educational institutions leads to heavy workload of rural teachers.

2. Although quality education has been strongly advocated and the new curriculum reform has been strengthened in recent years, it is clear to all that if the college entrance examination system is not reformed, the test scores that can really change the fate of children will be recognized by the people, and the enrollment rate is also related to the life and death of the school. Faced with the internal management system of "being laid off" and "leaving people", teachers feel great pressure to keep their jobs.

In recent years, for the sake of safeguarding students' rights and interests, the education department has many restrictions on teachers, such as not beating and scolding students and not expelling them. However, influenced by the social environment, students' personality is getting stronger and stronger, their discipline is getting worse and worse, their tendency to violence is prominent, fights occur from time to time, more and more people are in love, and it is more and more difficult for teachers to organize and manage students. At the same time, influenced by bad social atmosphere, schools and society pay more and more attention to the physical and mental harm of extortion and intimidation to students, which makes teachers often "walk on thin ice".

In addition, I found that there are several questions about teachers that are relatively concentrated:

1, the level of rural teachers is far lower than that of urban teachers. Although the overall academic qualifications of teachers are improving, most of them are obtained by correspondence and self-examination, and there are still few regular full-time undergraduate courses. On the contrary, almost all the teachers transferred to the town are backbone teachers, so that there are almost no senior teachers in several middle schools visited.

2. With the deepening of popularizing nine-year compulsory education, the structure of rural teachers has changed from public, private and substitute teachers to all public teachers, but there is a serious shortage of teachers such as music, art and microcomputer.

(3) Students' problems

Present situation and thinking of students' active and autonomous learning

In investigating students' learning attitude or initiative, most students have clear learning goals, but most students are under pressure from parents and teachers, and their grades are highly recognized, and 80% students attach importance to their grades. Among the courses studied, the proportion of students who choose the weakest English is the highest, accounting for 47.67%. But for the question "How do you want to improve", I originally designed four options: review and consolidate by myself, invite a tutor, attend a training class, and others. Results 56.3% students chose other options. After asking, I found that the students thought more ways, including parents' guidance, asking classmates and teachers and so on. The survey shows that 46. 1% of rural students can study hard and persevere in peacetime, but 34.5% of rural students study irregularly in peacetime, mainly relying on overtime before exams to cope with exams.

Through contact with students, combined with my own experience, I think the main factor that restricts rural students' learning progress is that rural primary and secondary school students are easily influenced by external factors and need to be constantly urged to study hard. Students attribute the unsatisfactory learning effect mainly to the need to improve their learning methods. However, because 59.3% of rural students generally have to undertake some housework, it is difficult to ensure that they have enough study time. In addition, poor basic education conditions in rural areas, lack of learning resources and backward teachers' educational concepts have also seriously restricted rural students' learning.

Parents' problems

When answering "What do you think of education in your area?" 75.36% of parents choose "average" and 5.8% think "poor". It can be seen that many parents are not satisfied with the local education. For example, Luanxie Village owns a group company that produces Kangbide, and the income of local farmers is higher. However, many parents are not satisfied with the local education, so they send their children to school in the city.

When asked, "How well do you know your children's performance at school?", only 17.5% of parents said they knew, while 20% of parents chose "hardly know". However, when answering "the degree of concern for children's learning", 58.75% of parents expressed great concern. There seems to be a contradiction in this, that is, how can you say that you care about your children's study when you basically don't know their performance at school? I asked some parents about this. It turns out that many parents think that caring about their children's academic performance is all about their children's learning performance.

Reflections on the problems of parents;

1, parents have no awareness of family education. Most parents think that education is learning in school, and the problem of students is the problem of school education, so they stay out of it.

2. Parents have no educational ability. Most parents are only junior high school students at most, do not engage in education, or attach importance to family education, and their ability is quite limited.

3. The influence is greater than the school. Parents hope that their children can be admitted to "more promising in the future" and "not busy farming in the future". But it may be a variety of factors in terms of conditions and thoughts. The survey found that no parents have the concept of advanced education.

(E) the status quo of "empty nest" in basic education schools

1. Status quo: Primary schools and junior high schools in rural areas are seriously merged due to lack of students! Examples: interviews with principals and teachers or real data (loss of teachers and students); Rural infrastructure and education level; Parents' ideas, etc.

2. Reason:

1 China implements family planning, the number of freshmen drops sharply, late marriage and late childbearing are advocated, aging is intensified, and the decrease of school-age children cannot meet the needs of schools.

Through educational reform, education has developed rapidly, and there are more and more basic education schools in rural areas, which are less and less incompatible with school-age children!

The quality of rural population has obviously improved, and the concept of "fewer children, better children and better education" has a great influence!

The social security system is sound and perfect, the concept of raising children to prevent old age is getting weaker and weaker, and there are fewer worries!

Due to the backwardness of rural basic education facilities, low education level, weak teachers, scattered schools, huge national capital investment and great difficulty in integration, schools were merged in order to improve the education level, facilitate the integration of teachers and improve the effectiveness of education capital investment!

With the great development of economy, the upsurge of working in rural areas has taken away a batch of students, and rural areas have paid more and more attention to education. In order to change their destiny and honor their ancestors, we strive to give our children a good opportunity to go to a good school!

Teachers are reluctant to go to the countryside because of poor rural conditions and heavy work pressure; Find someone to teach in a better place through contacts!

(vi) The plight of children left behind in rural areas:

1. Status quo: Parents go to work in cities, and children stay in rural areas to go to school without care!

Example: data of left-behind children

Influence on children's growth:

Neglect of nursing and personal safety can not be ignored. Because the responsibility of guardianship is not implemented, guardians lack awareness of prevention, and children's protection ability is weak, left-behind children in rural areas are vulnerable to accidental injuries and even become psychological problems of criminals. Psychological problems are the most noteworthy problems for left-behind children in rural areas. Long-term single-parent guardianship or intergenerational guardianship, even others' guardianship and unsupervised guardianship, make left-behind children unable to get the care of their parents like other children, and parents can't always understand and grasp their children's psychological and ideological changes. This lack of affection makes children become withdrawn, depressed and even feel abandoned, which seriously affects the healthy development of children's psychology.

Learning problems. Unsupervised, skipping classes, dropping out of school without learning to catch social bad habits, etc. ;

Life problems. Parents are not around and don't know how to take care of themselves, which leads to chaos in life and is easily influenced by social habits!

2. Impact on society: it is not conducive to the improvement of education quality; Hinder the cultivation of high-quality talents; Not conducive to the harmonious development of society; It is not conducive to the cultivation of new farmers and the formation of new countryside!

Reason: Due to the lack of supervision, care and backward education level, the physical, psychological, study and life problems of left-behind children are serious, which has a great impact on their growth and building a harmonious society!

Three. Countermeasures and suggestions for solving rural education problems

Combining the investigation and my own thinking, I think that to solve the rural education problem, we should mainly focus on the following points:

(A) improve the treatment of teachers, reform the personnel system of the education system, create a reasonable and efficient competitive environment, and solve the problem of "teachers' lagging behavior"

The research of development economists points out that the simple learning methods and poor learning content in primary and secondary education in third world countries are closely related to the poor ability and lack of initiative of most teachers. They often don't get their due salary, have no interest and have no chance to update their knowledge and improve their teaching level. Our rural junior high school education basically belongs to this situation. The effective ways to solve "teachers' lagging behavior" are as follows: first, improve teachers' salary level and provide economic guarantee for teachers' continuing education and lifelong learning; The second is to reform the personnel system of the education system, ensure the openness, fairness and science of teacher assessment, and create a reasonable and efficient competitive environment; Third, improve the quality of continuing education and lifelong learning, and change the formalism and inefficiency in current continuing education.

(2) The penetration of vocational education in general education has enabled rural junior high school students to grow into compound talents to meet the requirements of rural economic development.

We can try to carry out post-junior high school vocational education in rural junior high schools-semester vocational training or "3+ 1" training. However, according to the survey, in our local area, parents and teachers do not agree with this. The reason is that vocational education is not closely integrated with economic and social development, and the employment channels are not smooth. In the survey, a principal said that he had been to Qingdao, and that vocational education in Qingdao trained talents in short supply. After graduation, they can all find jobs and vocational education is very popular. Therefore, the implementation of vocational education should be employment-oriented and meet the conditions in rural areas. Only in this way can we promote the development of rural economy and culture.

Deconstructing the closed traditional system, making full use of social resources and actively supporting social forces to set up educational institutions and private schools should be the best form to supplement and activate rural education. However, there are few private schools in our local countryside. In the end, our education has become an exclusive operation, always in the position of "the boss", traditional, closed and dogmatic, so that it is hopeless. Therefore, we should vigorously support and promote the healthy development of private education, so as to effectively expand the scale of running high schools, solve the bottleneck problem of the rise of rural junior high schools, and alleviate the great pressure of further education.

70% of China's population is in rural areas, and the number of students in compulsory education in rural areas (including counties and towns) is as high as 65.438+0.6 billion. However, the present situation of rural primary and secondary education is not ideal, but it faces many problems and difficulties. In rural areas, although most families can still afford their children's education expenses through various channels, there are still a few children who have not realized their dreams of going to high school and entering universities because of family poverty. Modern society advocates people to pay attention to vulnerable groups. These children who drop out of school due to financial difficulties should get more care and help from the society to help them realize their dream of studying! I call on education departments at all levels and all walks of life to realize the urgency of developing rural education, give more support to rural education, attract more outstanding teachers to rural primary and secondary schools, improve the quality of running rural schools, and promote the coordinated development of rural education and economy and society.

Conclusion: We should always seize the opportunity brought by time, try our best to make up for the shortage of rural basic education and develop rural basic education in a planned way. The development of rural basic education needs to conform to the trend of the times and pay attention to cultivating new talents with ideas. However, it needs the joint efforts of the whole society and the support of economic development!

Since the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, the party and the government have been concerned about the development of rural education. In particular, the comprehensive completion of primary and secondary school infrastructure has greatly improved the level of rural education and shown a good momentum of vigorous development. On this issue, I conducted an investigation on Qilong Primary School in Yueshan Town, Huaining County, Anqing City, Anhui Province on 20xx1October 23rd, and now I make the following analysis report on the investigation results.

First, complete the infrastructure construction

I used to study in this primary school. At that time, the teaching building was very shabby, many windows were broken, the desks used by students were in tatters, and the playground was riddled with holes. When it rains, the ground is muddy and students easily slip. Now, the situation is very different. The teaching building has been renovated, and children's favorite cartoon images have been painted on the walls. Windows have been replaced with stainless steel; The students' class chairs have also been replaced with new ones; The school playground was paved with cement and a basketball stand was built. What makes me most happy this time is that there is also a kindergarten in the school, and many children's toys have been added to the campus.

Second, teaching methods are diversified.

During the investigation, Mr. Jiang said that great changes have taken place in the current teaching methods. Due to the implementation of the family planning policy, there are fewer and fewer children in rural areas, and the school has opened up an effective teaching road-small class teaching. Therefore, the school has conducted research on the topic of "small class education". In order to make small class education truly reflect its strong educational vitality, the school has carried out a series of curriculum system reforms and changes in teaching environment. First, adjust the curriculum structure. The school is based on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability. All the first to fourth grades of the school are taught in small classes, while continuing bilingual teaching activities-English childhood, chess-educational ceramics, classics of Chinese studies-cultivating sentiment, information technology-clicking on happiness, participating in practice-experiencing life. Interested students can also participate in English classes of foreign teachers. Secondly, create a teaching environment and teaching conditions suitable for small class teaching, provide conditions for the healthy growth of students, and fully reflect the requirements of quality education. With so many school activities, students' flexibility has been greatly improved, which is conducive to their divergent thinking and independent thinking. In this way, students will not study hard, but gain a relaxed and happy harvest, and the knowledge they have learned in the process of doing it themselves will be more profound. It is the real independent learning of students rather than the indoctrination education of teachers, which is in line with the background of cultivating students' creative thinking today.

3. Students' life is rich and colorful.

In the past, the family conditions were poor, and students only had basic things such as pens, notebooks and schoolbags, and even fewer people bought reference books, because reference books were only available in county towns and were very expensive. It's different now. Almost everyone has at least three or four reference books in their hands, and they are sold everywhere, which is very convenient to buy. There are even too many reference books and I don't know how to choose them. This phenomenon is very common. Learning tools are everywhere, and various learning tools are everywhere. Students' learning conditions have made a great leap. Moreover, in order to make students study easily, almost every class is equipped with TV and multimedia equipment. Since then, students have not only studied hard at school, but also enjoyed a kind of happiness and relaxation. During the break, the school radio station plays music and listens to music after studying, which greatly relieves the tension of study. Teachers often use multimedia to let students watch some inspirational movies, which is a rare opportunity for students to get cultural edification and spiritual experience. In this way, students learn not only book knowledge, but also contact and recognition of traditional culture, research on social affairs and patriotism education, thus cultivating a new generation of innovative talents.

Four. conclusion

Through investigation, it is found that, just as the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward that "vigorously promote educational equity, rationally allocate educational resources, give priority to supporting rural areas, marginal and poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas, support special education, improve the level of financial aid for students with financial difficulties from families, actively promote equal education for children of migrant workers, and make every child a useful talent", the Party and the state attach great importance to the development of rural education. Education is the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress, and rural education is the most critical part. Only by doing a good job in rural education can we really provide a steady stream of power for socialist modernization and contribute to the prosperity of China.
