School introduction
As a foreign language school in Kyoto, our school was founded in May of 1947 (the 22nd year of Showa). At that time, just after the war, world peace was more desirable than anything else, and international understanding was the foundation. Therefore, in order to seek international understanding, it is imperative to cultivate talents who master foreign languages and are familiar with their culture, economy and society.
But for us Japanese, the unique structure of Japanese is an obstacle, and China's unique historical traditions and habits make it more difficult for us to learn foreign languages. In other words, living in an island country, learning a foreign language is accompanied by unparalleled difficulties between our neighboring countries and our country. What is needed is a strong will and constant efforts to surpass one's talents.
The school's founding spirit "Pax Mundi per Linguas" has injected a strong desire into those who realize world peace. Since its establishment, it has always regarded "unyielding" as the basic spirit of education and research, precisely because for those who specialize in foreign languages, continuous efforts are more important than anything else.
