In 2022, it was renamed Chengbei Huiwen School. According to official website news, Meijiang District Education Bureau will expand and merge Huiwen Primary School and Chengbei Middle School in Meijiang District in 2022, and upgrade it to a provincial-level standardized nine-year school, named Chengbei Huiwen School, in order to solve the problem that the lack of schools around Meijiang Country Garden north of Meicheng River makes it difficult for children to go to school.
