Tang Priest's Life Experience
The story of Tang Priest is that Tang Priest is the posthumous son of Chen Guangrui, the top scholar, and Yin Kai, the prime minister.

Tang Priest, a layman surnamed Chen, is from Luoyang, Henan. Nicknamed "Xuanzang", he was honored as "Master Sanzang". He is called "Tang Priest" and nicknamed "Jiang Liuer" in the secular world. One of the protagonists in China's four classical masterpieces, The Journey to the West, is based on Xuanzang, a monk in the Tang Dynasty.

In Journey to the West, Tang Priest is the second disciple of Tathagata, the "Golden Cicada". Because of his contempt for Buddhism, he was demoted to the lower bound by the Buddha. Under the guidance of Guanyin Bodhisattva, at the behest of Emperor Taizong, he went to the Western Heaven not far from Wan Li to learn Buddhist scriptures. After eighty-one difficulties, he finally got the scriptures and returned to the Tang Dynasty, where he was crowned as the "Buddha of Great Tan" by the Tathagata.
