Zhou Li is one of the Confucian classics, which contains rich contents of ancient official system and political system, and also involves some educational records. In Zhou Li, foster care education is regarded as an important stage in the process of children's growth, and the education children receive at this stage is called "foster care education". As far as the content of education is concerned, Zhou Li recorded six kinds of arts: ceremony, music, shooting, bending, calligraphy and figures. Zhou Li also stipulates that an educated teacher must have certain conditions, including moral quality, cultural accomplishment and educational experience.
