Hongqiao Town No.9 Primary School was founded in 1922, formerly known as Xingzhuang Demonstration Primary School. On 1993, it merged with Nanxing Primary School to build a new school building and changed its name to its present name. The school is located in the west bank of Hongqiao, at the southern end of the intersection of Liming Road and Yishou Road, covering an area of 23 mu, with a planned construction area of 5,630 square meters and a built area of 4,500 square meters.
