Tao Xingzhi (18911018-1946 July 25th), an Anhui native, is a famous educator in China.

Except Tao Xingzhi, Yan and others, they have made great contributions to China's modern education or children's education. In the early stage, my understanding of Tao Xingzhi only stayed in his educational thought of "unity of knowledge and action", and I only understood the literal meaning, but I knew little about others. What kind of dilemma are these great contemporary educators and their educational ideas facing? Does it still apply today?

For Mr. Tao Xingzhi, after reading Tao Xingzhi's On Education for five days, he was deeply impressed by his four-point educational thought, which was very forward-looking, feasible and long-term. Also talk about my rehabilitation and enlightenment.

We don't need a deathless education, and we don't need an deathless education. What we need is a living education. What is a living education? It is definitely not the kind of education that is mechanically copied, rigidly adhered to, and rigidly adhered to. We need living education to:

Don't really believe that some teachers or parents are alive, but they can't show their vitality and keep pace with the times in TA.

Just like when Tao Xingzhi was a woman, it was difficult to get an education. Today, the situation is completely different. Even if the views of famous artists are out of date, they need to be abandoned and take the essence of their lives.

3. Living method: Teaching methods vary from person to person, adapting to local conditions, and the spirit can be passed on, not just in form.

1. Rehabilitation: self-renewal and self-iteration of knowledge; I don't know how to be a mother and study; I don't know how to be a good mother and study; Do not understand children, learn; Don't know how to learn.

2. Chang Xin: Save the body three times a day, often rubbing your heart; The same is true of being a teacher, a father and a mother.

3. Brand-new: always ready to meet brand-new knowledge and brand-new self.

4. What is teaching? The current phenomenon is over-teaching! Including our present parents, are always instilling knowledge, thinking that education can be completed by imparting what they know to their children. Teach children = tell children the knowledge points. However, the real teaching should be to teach children how to think, how to solve problems and how to learn.

Simply put, it is from life to life, not on paper. It is useless to learn more knowledge, and it is useless in life.

Sister Lian often complains that I let her write arithmetic addition and subtraction. It doesn't matter if you tell her it will work in the future.

Seeing my code words on the computer, she said she didn't want to write, but wanted to write directly on the computer. When you go out to take the subway, you must understand and remember the station name before you go home. To go to the market to buy food, you have to go through a round of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to buy it.

Now she should know that if she wants to do these things by herself, she must learn, not because I called her.

1. The understanding of treating children should be updated.

Children are younger than adults in age and figure, but other ideas, concepts and learning speed are often forgotten by adults.

I often tell my sister that although my mother is older and taller than you, she is not as good as you in many places. For example, my mother's painting is not as good as yours. For example, her mother never asks questions. She knows something that her mother doesn't.

Children are also parents' observation and a mirror. According to the bad place of the child, there must be traces on the parents, and the parents should change it first.

2. Come from the children and go to the children.

Mix among children, be a big boy, use children's language and children's logic to let children know that you know TA.

For example: ask my brother to help me do something, and he will refuse me to say "do your own thing." But I put it another way: "Le Di/Super Flash, always deliver on time, help me deliver a courier XXX", he must run for action.

3. Children are "little gentlemen" and should use the strength of little gentlemen.

My younger brother often imitates my sister, who has been a "kindergarten" teacher at home every day since kindergarten, teaching what she learned that day to our "children". Now my sister is promoted to "primary school teacher" and my brother is still a "kindergarten teacher". My father and I often have to be re-educated at home, and we are willing to cherish the fun and opportunities of re-education.
