Lu, a Hong Kong writer, essayist and scholar, is a pen name. 1939 was born in Hong Kong. Hong Kong's famous contemporary novelist and educator won the second Outstanding Educator Award of Hong Kong Institute of Education in 2003. She is the director of the Literature Research Center of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and currently writes a column entitled "A glimpse of Xiao Si" for the supplement of Ming Pao in Hong Kong. 198 1 obtained a master's degree in the thesis "China's Literary Activities in Hongkong".
