Beijing Modern Art School was founded on September 28th,1997,2001with the approval of Beijing Daxing District Education Committee. It is an art school in secondary vocational colleges with national education. The school is located in Daxing District, Cheng Nan, Beijing, with G3 Jingtai Expressway in the east, Airport No.2 Expressway and subway in the west, Capital No.2 Airport in the south 18km, and South Sixth Ring Road in the north, with convenient transportation.
The school covers an area of 200 mu, with an existing building area of 32,000 square meters, which can accommodate 2,000 students.
Beijing Modern Art School has cooperated with Beijing Normal University, Beijing Institute of Education and Beijing Electronic Technology Vocational College for nearly 20 years. The school employs well-known professors from Beijing Normal University, Beijing Film Academy, Communication University of China, Central Conservatory of Music and Central Academy of Drama as part-time teachers.
New educational models such as teaching, demonstration, discussion, exchange and exhibition are adopted to cultivate talents with both ability and political integrity. In the early days of the school, Daxing Education Committee approved the establishment of the Youth League Committee, the Party branch and the school trade union organization. The school implements boarding management, and students should receive entrance education, national defense education and class collective education after entering school.
