Is the education system in China good or bad?
Our education is poor, quality education, but why do some foreign elites and celebrities send their children to China to study? Why isn't there a university in China before 10? A China parent in the United States said, "My son's change prompted me to return to the United States for primary and secondary education. I found that although primary and secondary schools in the United States did not instill a lot of knowledge into their children in the classroom, they tried their best to draw their eyes to the boundless ocean of knowledge outside the campus. They want their children to know that all the time and space in life are classrooms for them to study. Instead of asking children to recite a lot of formulas and theorems, they took pains to tell them how to think and how to find answers in unfamiliar fields. They never divide students into three classes, six classes and nine classes without taking exams, and never set up any top classes to divide students into good ones and bad ones. Their high schools will not be divided into good ones and bad ones like China, and the good ones will enter high schools and the bad ones will enter technical secondary schools. Instead, we try our best to affirm all the efforts of children, praise all the conclusions drawn by children's own thinking, and protect and stimulate all their creative desires and attempts. I often think of primary and secondary education in China, where children sit straight behind their hands in class, heavy courses, all kinds of homework and strict exams ... It makes people feel sacred and dignified, and at the same time it makes people feel great depressed and bound, losing interest in learning and completely turning into an examination machine. An educator said that China's education, China's students did not have their adolescence, and their impressions were only mimeographed test papers and a large number of outlines and topics. 1-20 years old, how many books can cope with the sea of exams and die like a mountain? It's just that those theoretical knowledge completely obliterates students' imagination and creativity. When they were admitted to the university, they said, I am so tired that I can finally catch my breath. The senior high school entrance examination and the college entrance examination are all here. Almost all college students in China have been surpassed by American students in universities. While American college students take the time to study hard to prepare for entering the society, China students are already exhausted. This is the education in China, which is why China won so few Nobel Prizes, and it has something to do with our education. This is exam-oriented education. Students in China are exam machines. When they enter the society, they will find out why so many things they have learned are useless. Our education needs reform and a new tomorrow.
