In Fudan University's "Boya Cup" essay, Cao Yang's writing performance in literature, history and philosophy was favored by Fudan University, with nearly half of the students in Shanghai. With the support of Fudan University, ten well-known senior high schools in China, including Fudan Middle School, Shinan Middle School, Hang No.2 Middle School, Shenzhen University High School and Henan Experimental Middle School, successfully held the "Boya Education" forum in Caoyang No.2 Middle School, sharing their wisdom and experience in cultivating "Boya" students. There is such a special student group in Caoyang No.2 Middle School. Their first foreign language is German. The project they participated in was the German Language Certificate (DSD Certificate) project launched by the school last year. They are a worldwide proof of the language proficiency of German universities. In other words, after studying in Germany for three years, these students can obtain different levels of DSD certificates, and most of them enter elite universities in Germany for further study according to the results of Chinese college entrance examination.
On July 20 12, Caoyang No.2 Middle School became one of the schools implementing the nursery plan of Tongji University, and the "Nursery Plan of Tongji University-Signing and Listing Ceremony of German Science and Technology Experimental Base of Caoyang No.2 Middle School" was held in the multifunctional hall of Wenjie Building of Caoyang No.2 Middle School. Focusing on cultivating innovative talents, Caoyang No.2 Middle School has carried out in-depth reform of the education system, made great efforts to realize the great transformation from "Made in China" to "Created in China", delivered more talents to the society, and made contributions to building Shanghai into a global and world-class city.
In order to ensure the implementation of the project, Germany has set up DSD project managers all over the world and sent senior German foreign teachers to all DSD schools free of charge. For more than a year, two senior German language teachers from Hamburg have taught students, and two German teaching assistants have helped students correct their pronunciation and practice their spoken English. German students in Shanghai or students from German and French schools often come to school to live and study with DSD students and exchange needed items.
The school provides many development platforms for students in DSD class. From the first China Alumni Association of DSD Project School held in Caoyang No.2 Middle School, to the reception activities of Planck No.1 Middle School in Germany, to the "Harmony, Better City" held in Caoyang No.2 Middle School in Germany, all students went to Germany to study. Students used these activities to hone their will, exercise their ability, enrich their thoughts, cultivate their international vision, enhance their humanistic quality, and also enhance their friendship and create the most beautiful.
