Chengcheng Middle School was founded in Nanjie Senior Primary School in the late Qing Dynasty (today's county kindergarten east) in 1924. It was rebuilt in the former site of Qingyuquan Academy (now the small site of Chengguan) in 1947, and then moved to Nanyeshan County, and returned to the original site after liberation. 1949 was renamed Chengcheng Junior High School in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region 1958 was renamed Chengcheng Chengguan Middle School 1959 was renamed pucheng county No.3 Middle School 1960 was renamed Pucheng Middle School1961September was renamed Chengcheng Middle School in Chengcheng County. 1964 moved to the present address (Wu Dong Road, the county seat).
