History of Guizhou education
The establishment of Shunyuan Taoism Confucianism in Guiyang in the Yuan Dynasty was the beginning of official learning in Guizhou.

Because the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty called today's Guiyang City Shunyuan City, its meaning was to distinguish it from the schools in Shunyuan City, and it was educated according to Confucianism, so it was Confucianism. The establishment of Confucianism in the Yuan Dynasty was the beginning of official learning in Guizhou Province.

According to historical records, Shunyuandao Confucianism, the earliest school in Guiyang in Yuan Dynasty, has a history of more than 700 years. The establishment of Confucianism in Shunyuan Road is the first school in Guiyang recorded in historical materials. The address of Shunyuan Road Confucianism was recorded in Hongzhi's "Guizhou Tujing Xinzhi School" in the Ming Dynasty: "Confucianism, which ruled the east of the city, was built in the north of this capital in the early Yuan Dynasty and was Shunyuan Road Confucianism."

The address of Confucianism in Shunyuan Road is at No.0/5, Shifu Road, Nanming District (the original site of Guiyang Municipal People's Government). Why is it called Shunyuan Daoru? Because the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty called today's Guiyang City Shunyuan City, its meaning is to run a school in Shunyuan City and educate according to Confucianism, so it is Confucianism. The establishment of Confucianism in the Yuan Dynasty was the beginning of official learning in Guizhou Province.

As a pioneer of Guiyang education, Shunyuan Taoism Confucianism existed in Nanming District for about 20 years, from the sixth year of Yuan Dynasty to the second year of Huang Qing (1295- 13 12). After the disappearance of Confucianism in Shunyuan Road, how to rebuild the civilized academy on its original site and consider itself its successor, which has been passed down from generation to generation, making Guiyang education flourish.

Confucianism and official studies

Confucianism can be said to be "official study", "leadership study" and "aide study", and it is a special course for training officials and senior staff. But the ideal of Confucianism is not to be an official, but to promote its own "benevolence" with the help of official power to benefit the people all over the world. This goal is roughly the so-called "perfection" in "University", and it is a goal that combines social values with personal accomplishment.

If there is no chance to preach benevolence and righteousness and have the opportunity to be an official, the ancients chose not to be an official. Therefore, Confucius has not been an official for several years in his life, Mencius has not been an official, and many talented disciples of Confucius have not been an official. It's not that they don't have the opportunity to be an official, but they feel that being an official for the sake of being an official can't achieve their goals, but they lower their level.

Confucian scholars after the Han Dynasty did not have such high integrity, so they studied and became officials. Whether they can practice benevolence or not, put it in the second step first. Of course, many Confucian scholars did use their power to practice benevolence.
