Emei Mountain is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. It is famous for offering sacrifices to bodhisattvas. So what are the tourist attractions in Emei Mountain? Let's have a look.
What are the tourist attractions in Mount Emei?
Baoguo temple
Guobao Temple is the largest temple in Emei Mountain, the gateway to Emei Mountain and the center of Buddhist activities in Emei Mountain. Guobao Temple was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, formerly known as Huizongtang, and was built by Daoist Mingguang on the right side of Khufu Temple, taking Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism as the meaning of Hui Zong. Later, it was moved to the current site in the early Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in Shunzhi for nine years. In the 42nd year of Kangxi (A.D. 1703), according to the meaning of "serving the country and the country" in "Four Kindnesses and Four Reports", the name of "Guobao Temple" was changed.
Emeishan Museum
Mount Emei Museum is located in Fenghuang Lake in Fenghuang Scenic Area of Guobao Temple, with an elegant environment. The museum consists of six halls: the film and television hall, the geology hall, the biology hall, the history and culture hall, the Buddhist art hall and the Gu Shuhua hall.
Establish surd
Shuangfei Bridge, located under the Yin Qing Pavilion, looks like a rainbow, spanning the sky. "Shuangqiao" is a general term for two small bridges. Under the bridge, there are two rivers on the left and right. One is from Heilongjiang in Jiulao Cavern, and the other is from Bailong River in Pingping. The place where the two rivers meet is called Fenghuangkou, and there is a Niuxin Pavilion on it. There is a black boulder under the pavilion, about 2 meters high, black, brown and shiny. Because it looks like a bull's heart, it is called a bull's heart stone.
Hong Chunping
Hongchunping, which is quiet and elegant, is located among the peaks of Zhongshan Mountain, with an altitude of1120m, and 6 kilometers away from Yin Qing Pavilion. Here, the forest is deep, the temple is quiet, the water is clear and the air is cool. This is a summer resort in the mountains. Hong Chun-ping's three highlights are Hong Yu, double hundred-character couplets, and woodcut thousand Buddha lotus lanterns.
Xixiangchi scenic spot
Xixiangchi Scenic Area is one of the eight famous temples in Emei Mountain, located on the diamond slope at an altitude of 2070 meters. Xixiangchi Scenic Area was originally named "Chuxige", which means that tourists are very happy when they come here, thinking that they have come to the top. In fact, it is still 13km from Jinding. This is a cold zone, and it rains and snows, so its temple is short and its house is made of iron.
goldentop
Jinding is the second peak of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3077 meters. On the top is a small plain, and there is an original bronze temple, which is dazzling under the sunlight, hence the name Jinding. Climbing the Jinding, people suddenly feel that everything is empty and magnificent. As far as you can see, you can see the Chengdu Plain. The mountains in front of the mountain are undulating, and the Minjiang River, Qingyijiang River, Dadu River, Wawushan Mountain and Gongyishan are vivid.
Wanfoding
Wanfo Peak is the highest peak of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3,099 meters, which means "Pu Xian is surrounded by ten thousand buddhas". There are many ancient trees, birds and animals in the scenic area, and the original landscape is well preserved. The scenery is different all year round: see azaleas in spring, smell birds in summer, see red leaves in autumn and enjoy Yushu in winter. There are ten thousand Buddha Pavilion, alpine rhododendron forest, black bear ditch, immortal turning back and other attractions.
Introduction of Emei Mountain Scenic Area
1 Shengji Temple Night Bell Shengji Temple, formerly known as Cifu Garden, is located 2.5 kilometers south of Emei, the largest temple in the mountain, with a quiet environment. There are two ancient Castanopsis trees outside the temple, and it takes several people to hold them up. The bronze bell was originally hung on the treasure house in the temple, so it was named Shengji bronze bell. Casted in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it was raised and built by another Zen master. This bronze bell is solid and weighs 12500 kg. It is said that it is the largest bronze bell in Sichuan Province. 1935 Zhao Xunbo's "Emei Mountain" said: "Every time the bell rings, the sound can reach one minute and fifty seconds on the evening of the second day of the lunar calendar (that is, the summer calendar). What I have heard recently is loud and powerful; Far away, the voice is clear; In the dead of night, you can smell the Jinding. "
2. Luo Feng of Luofeng Qingyun is located on the right side of Khufu Temple, 0.5km away from it. This is a hill at the foot of Mount Khufu. Luofeng grass is full of bamboo beauty, flowing in the valley, green in the ancient south and secluded in its winding path.
Hundreds of ancient pine trees on the mountain are vigorous and tall, with different shapes, which is a rare gathering place for pine trees on Mount Emei. The mountain wind blew and the pine forest echoed in the valley. When it rains in Chuqing in summer, smoke clouds curl up from the ravine, or drift slowly from the blue sky and look out from the dense pine forest. They are graceful and unpredictable, showing the flowing beauty of Emei clouds. Clouds rise from stones, and springs fall from stones. The landscape is wonderful and beautiful.
Luo Feng Temple, also known as Luo Feng Temple, is an elegant small temple, which was rebuilt in June 1987. This temple is surrounded by green bamboo and the south of the town. It is quiet and elegant and refined. Its door couplet said: "Three thousand realms are spotless, and all laws are empty and twelve principles." Behind buddhist nun is the newly-built Tallinn monk, whose tomb tower stands solemnly. Da De, a monk in Emei Mountain, regards Luo Feng as a resting place after death.
3. The site of Lingyan Temple is located on the left side of Gao Qiao, 5 kilometers southwest of Guobao Temple. Founded in Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was once known as Guang Lin Temple and Huifu Temple to protect the country. Ming Hongwu and Yongle rebuilt, still named Lingyan. The Ming Dynasty was the heyday of Lingyan Temple. The temples of this temple overlap, and the dense forests set off. Yan Dan is lush and mountainous, showing the wonders of Lingyan, and "Lingyan is stacked with greenery" has become the victory of ten scenic spots in Emei.
The ancient temple was destroyed in 1960s, but the natural scenery of "full of green of Lingyan Mountain" remains the same. Going to Lingyan Mountain and enjoying the green layers, there is still a feeling of "imitating green, imitating youth". Lingyan Temple is located in the foothills behind Jinding Three Peaks, overlooking the north on the site of Lingyan Temple. Nearby, the Qingfeng Mountains are continuous, and the forests and bamboos are dotted. In the distance, the Ten Thousand Buddha Peak, the Thousand Buddha Peak and the Golden Peak span the sky like three huge green screens. The outline lines of the three peaks are straight, soft and very clear. From low to high, from near to far, green mountains, from green to indigo, from gray-blue to gray, extend to distant layers and extend to the border with the blue sky. What a spectacular sight!
4. Shuangqiao Yin Qing Yin Qing Pavilion is located in the center of Emei Mountain, and it is also called "water wins two wonders" with Longmen Cave. Facing the Yin Qing Pavilion, there is a picture of green mountains and green waters. Tall, exquisite pavilions, commanding. In the middle is the second pavilion in the middle of the Red Mansion, Danyan. There is a stone bridge on each side of the pavilion, which floats on the water in black and white, shaped like wings, hence the name Shuangfei Bridge. Close-up, it is the black and white water that meets under Niuxinting. The black water on the right comes from the Black Dragon Pool under Jiulao Cavern, bypassing Hongchunping. The water color is like Dai, also known as Heilongjiang. The white water on the left comes from Sancha River at the foot of Gongbei Mountain, bypassing Wannian Temple. Water is white, also known as Bailong River. The confluence of the two rivers impacts the Bitan boulder, which looks like a bull's heart. Let it beat black and white, Niuxinshi still stands still, forming a unique temple landscape environment. Gardeners call it a poem with sound, a three-dimensional painting. Standing in the central pavilion, looking at the black and white water, there is a feeling that the mountains move with the water.
5. White water and autumn wind. Longmen Grottoes is located in the middle reaches of Emei Mountain, at the climbing entrance of Houshan Highway, 2.5 kilometers northwest of Guobao Temple. It integrates canyon scenery, geological tourism and cliff art, and is called Emei Mountain with Yin Qing Pavilion. On the Emei River, two mountains face each other, just like a door. There is a big hole in the door wall. It is said that a dragon once lived in it, so it was named Longmen Cave, or Longmen Gorge. Because the stream is clear and the color is like jasper, this section of the river is also called Yuxi, Yu Xia and planting Yuxi. There are original landscapes such as "two dragons playing in the water", "throwing pearls at the mouth of the cave" and "watching fish in Longmen".

Extended data
There are abundant forest resources here. The town has a forest area of 58,000 mu and is rich in water resources. Even the water intake of Nongfu Spring is here.
The stream in the ditch gurgled and flowed out of the mountains. On both sides of the gully, there are steep peaks, and several peaks on the left bank are connected and look like a comb. Let's call it comb peak for the time being. In the ravine, there are all kinds of rocks, vines and green trees on both sides of the ravine.
Although climbing mountains and wading here, I don't feel tired at all, but I feel refreshed and comfortable. I haven't enjoyed the clear water in the stream for a long time. I looked up all green, took a deep breath and was filled with fresh air rich in negative oxygen ions. I'm drunk in this natural oxygen bar!
Dagou in Emei Mountain is a cool place. Are there many people there?
Dagou in Emei is a cool holiday resort, but not many people go there.
Many people have heard of Emei Mountain, but only a few people know about Emei Dagou. I didn't know there was such a cool summer resort here before I went, that is Emei Dagou. Emei Dagou is just below Emei Mountain, with unique scenery.
There are waterfalls, streams, green trees and rivers in Emei Dagou. In short, it is not worse than Mount Emei. It is very cool here. If you play with water and eat barbecue here, it must be very comfortable. If you travel here with your family, you can play barefoot with water, set up a barbecue stall by the river and barbecue for your family. If you are tired, how cool it is to lie on the big stone by the stream! The fish and tadpoles here are so spiritual. They play with people and swim together, as if they were playing hide-and-seek with you.
Of course, we should also take good care of these small animals and don't do too much to them. If you really want to eat here, you must bring your own barbecue grill and ingredients. If you don't want to bring it, you can also eat it in nearby specialty restaurants and small farmhouses. It's also very comfortable. Moreover, the dishes in some farmhouse restaurants have special local flavor, which is more delicious than their own baking. Speaking of kebabs, beer and watermelon are indispensable. At this time, we put a watermelon in the stream. It will get cold and cold after a while. At this time, it makes us feel relaxed and happy. Putting beer in a small river is as cold and refreshing.
So don't just go to Emei Mountain to see Emei Dagou. The scenery in Dagou, Emei is more beautiful, cooler and more comfortable. This is a summer resort that everyone wants to go to. So before the Dagu in Emei has been developed, we must have a look first. Although it is an undeveloped scenic spot, the scenery is really beautiful. There are still few people now. After the development, there will be more and more people, and it may not be as comfortable as it is now.
