According to China Education Network, Huainan Teachers College is a full-time ordinary undergraduate college in Anhui Province, formerly Huainan Teachers College, which was founded in 1958, closed in 1962, reopened in 1978 and reopened in 1999. Huainan Teachers College, Huainan Education College (established in 1978) and Huainan Teachers College (established in 1952) merged to form a new Huainan Teachers College. In 2000, the Ministry of Education approved Huainan Teachers College to be upgraded to the undergraduate level. In 2007, the school successfully passed the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level organized by the Ministry of Education, and in 2009, the school became a newly-built undergraduate college in Anhui Province.
