Characteristics and modes of compulsory education
The characteristic formula of compulsory education is "compulsory exemption from general education".

1, "strong" means compulsory, also called compulsory.

There are two meanings here: the first is that school-age children must receive compulsory education. The state must ensure this.

2. "Free" means free, also known as public welfare.

Compulsory education is an education that must be guaranteed by the state, society, schools and families.

3. "General" refers to universality, also known as unity.

In principle, compulsory education covers all school-age children and adolescents in China, including those who are blind, deaf, dumb, mentally retarded and disabled.
