The full name of the July Festival is "July Recitation Art Festival and National College Students' Recitation Conference", which is the highest-level activity and competition in the national recitation art world. In order to commemorate the older generation of broadcasting artists such as Mr. Qi Yue and inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the new China broadcasting industry represented by the "Qi Yue Spirit", broadcasting and hosting College of China Communication University established the "Qi Yue Recitation Art Festival" on 1996, with one theme for each session.
In June 2004, during the 7th July Recitation Art Festival, the first China University Students Recitation Competition was successfully held. It marks that the most striking "Recitation Competition" in the "July Recitation Art Festival" is more standardized, large-scale and branded, and has further become a national competition with high influence and wide participation. The purpose of this competition is to find talents in recitation among young students, promote the art of recitation and inherit Chinese language and culture.
Starting from this session, the July Recitation Art Festival was renamed as July Recitation Art Festival and China University Students Recitation Competition. 20 12 12 The 14th July Festival was renamed as "July Recitation Art Festival and National College Students Recitation Competition" 20 13 12 The 15th July Festival was officially confirmed. The July Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the State Language Committee, the Language Application Management Department of the Ministry of Education and the Communication University of China.
Sponsored by the School of Broadcasting Art of Communication University of China, it was renamed as Qi Yue Recitation Art Festival and National College Students Recitation Conference. For more than ten years, with the support and participation of all parties, the annual influence has become increasingly extensive. It not only becomes a language grand meeting for students majoring in broadcasting and hosting art to record history, commemorate glory, show their elegance and create tomorrow, but also provides a stage for recitation lovers from all walks of life to show their elegance, communicate with each other and learn and improve.
