Preschool pedagogy is a science that studies the laws of preschool education for 3-6 years old and the laws of preschool education institutions. It is an educational theory summarized and refined from the practical experience of preschool education, and it is a compulsory course for preschool teachers. Early childhood education is an applied subject, which comes from practice and goes to practice. For students majoring in preschool education, learning this course well can improve themselves better and shorten the course from students to teachers, from schools to classrooms, from newcomers to famous teachers. So, how can we learn this course well?
First, use variations of stories to help students understand the main points of the topic.
A principle that has been implemented in preschool education is that "children are the main body of their own rights and development" and "children are people with great development potential and are in the process of development". When students understand this truth, the application of teaching methods, the development of teaching activities, the design of teaching scenarios and the organization of teaching activities can be carried out smoothly, and the policy of quality education can be implemented in their work. Of course, it is easy to recite these words, and it takes a lot of effort to make teachers really understand them.
When talking about this problem, I organized two teaching cases to make students think.
First, a teacher organized kindergarten children to draw pictures and asked them to copy them according to her paintings. Praise the likeness of the painting, criticize the likeness of the painting. Another teacher let the children freely choose the objects and materials of painting and sincerely appreciate each child's paintings. Excuse me: Which teacher did it right?
Secondly, the teacher asked the students to do animal magnetic puzzles. Many students can spell animal patterns accurately by comparing wall charts, but some students stick the tiger's head and the monkey's ass together, and connect the elephant's tail with the dog. If you are a teacher, what should you do?
In the answer to the first example, students can correctly answer and briefly summarize the principles of pedagogy-protecting children's creativity and imagination and protecting children's enthusiasm for learning. The teaching methods are mainly praise and reward, supplemented by criticism and punishment. But when answering the second question, I began to talk about how to educate children, do it according to the correct puzzle rules, and complete the teaching task. Therefore, it is impossible to really understand the knowledge of preschool education simply by rote learning, and it is also impossible to understand the theme of the textbook "Children are the main body of their own development". I instruct students, and I can say, "Oh, your spelling is very creative. You are really a creative boy. Let's put your work aside and enjoy it later. Now, let's look at the works of other students and see if we can spell a horse and a monkey like our classmates. "
Variation is a form of expression formed by changing the non-essential characteristics of an object. Change people's perspective or method of observing things, so as to highlight the essential characteristics of objects and highlight those hidden essential elements. The change of teaching examples can also enable students to deeply understand the principles of pedagogy, so that their thinking is firm and changeable, and they can draw inferences from others.
Second, comprehensively use various memory methods to help students remember subject knowledge.
Knowledge is the foundation of intellectual development and the foundation and source of thinking development. The memory of knowledge is also the basis for students to learn "Early Childhood Education" well, and it is also an important condition for cultivating them to become qualified early childhood teachers and improve their teaching ability. Only by comprehensively using various memory methods can teachers help students improve their memory effect.
In Early Childhood Education edited by Chen, the concepts, objectives, contents and implementation of the four components of early childhood education, namely, physical education, intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education, are not only the focus of the book, but also the difficulty of memory. For example, sports have three goals. First, protect children's life and health, and promote the normal growth and development of children's bodies and the coordinated development of skills. Second, cultivate children's good living and health habits. The third is to exercise the child's body, develop basic movements, enhance physical fitness, and cultivate children's interest in sports activities. In the following chapters, the content and implementation of children's physical education are discussed around the goal. There are many identical words and sentences, as well as ever-changing vocabulary and content. Many students are easily confused when remembering this knowledge point, but they soon forget it afterwards. In this regard, I repeatedly told students the connotation of these concepts, telling them that the goal is the requirement, the content is the carrier, and the implementation is the activity and matters needing attention. By grasping their differences and connections conceptually, we can separate them from words and artistic conception. In addition, combined games are children's favorite educational activities. I divide the sports objectives, contents and implementation requirements into three, two and three respectively. The goal, content and implementation requirements of intellectual education are four respectively; The content and implementation of moral education are three and two respectively; The content and implementation of aesthetic education are three or four respectively. Make up a ballad: play, play (3, 2, 3), yes, yes (4, 4, 4), play (3, 2) and play (3, 4). The ballad is catchy, and the students will remember it at once and never forget it again.
In addition, we should pay attention to the use of comparative methods. For example, compare the target structure of kindergarten education with the target structure of curriculum, compare the educational requirements with the teaching requirements, and compare the principles of kindergarten game creation with the problems that should be paid attention to in the game environment. Comparison can deepen students' understanding of knowledge and improve the memory effect.
Third, consolidate pedagogy knowledge with practice.
"The things on the paper are very shallow. If you know it, you have to do it." Only by connecting with the reality of early childhood education can we turn the dead knowledge in books into living knowledge in our hearts and melt the theory in books into our own educational thoughts and actions.
The methods of connecting with practice are mainly internships and visits. Every third grade, most schools will arrange students to practice in kindergartens, which is a great opportunity to turn knowledge into ability, theory into practice, and promote both theoretical ability and practical ability. Of course, it is also wrong to just arrange an internship and let it go.
At the beginning of the internship, the students were very excited and chattered and laughed at all kinds of children's toys in the kindergarten, such as slides, trampolines, swings and seesaws. Three or five days later, the strict commuting system, noisy classrooms and endless preaching bored many students and made them afraid of difficulties. Many students also say that pedagogy makes children so cute, classrooms so beautiful and homework so interesting, which seems to be wrong. Other students said that they had memorized so many educational theories that they didn't seem to need them at all in practice ... I asked them to carefully observe the class situation of kindergarten teachers, and one of them often said "little hands are ready" in class, and the children answered "ready". Then the teacher sang a song while teaching, "How many mouths are there in my family? Let me pull my finger, dad, mom, me and me. " After listening to the students, I asked them to discuss, what class is this? What teaching methods are adopted and conform to those teaching principles. After discussion, the students found that this was not a music class, but a math class. Teachers flexibly use teaching methods such as demonstration, dialogue and games to let children learn knowledge in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Visiting is also a good way to connect with practice. I once led my students to visit a famous local kindergarten teacher. She used an example to earnestly warn students that teachers should pay attention to their words and deeds in class, and don't make people laugh and mislead children. "There is a teacher who loves to swear. She just started school in the summer vacation. She teaches small class students who have just entered school. The child left his parents for the first time and started school life, which was very uncomfortable. Some are crying, some are making noise, some are peeing on their clothes, which makes the teachers in a hurry. She couldn't help mumbling and swearing. After the children in this class came home, the parents were very happy and asked the children enthusiastically, "What did you learn in kindergarten today?" The child blurted out a dirty word "XX Mom". The students who listened laughed. After laughing, everyone felt a heavy burden on their shoulders.
In a word, strengthening the research of early childhood education is not only the need for students majoring in early childhood education to improve their academic performance, but also the need to help them become qualified people's teachers, improve their teaching skills and cultivate the flowers of the future motherland.
