According to the Notice of the General Office of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the General Office of the People's Government of Hainan Province on Printing and Distributing the Institutional Reform Plan of Sanya Municipal People's Government (No.40 [2009]), the Sanya Education Bureau (the CPC Sanya Higher School Working Committee and the CPC Sanya Higher School Discipline Inspection Working Committee are co-located) is established as the working department of the municipal government and is in charge of the education and language work of the whole city.
