How to evaluate Debon education bribing American college admissions officers?
1. Provide fees for university admissions officers.
Debon's fees for admissions officers are mainly rewards for university admissions officers to participate in the "University Application Special Training Camp" sponsored by Debon. I also attended this special training camp this summer. The main content of the special training camp is to give students an opportunity to contact the admissions officer, so that the admissions officer and the high school guidance from the United States can interpret the elements of the application and help students modify the application documents. Reuters pointed out that Debon offered a reward of $4,500 to the admissions officers present, which was paid in cash. However, some admissions officers did not accept these awards, and Debon provided them with business class tickets to China.
Indeed, we can question whether the admissions officer should accept such a high salary. It is doubtful to pay in cash, but there is no evidence to show the so-called "bribery" behavior of the subjects. At the same time, there are no laws or ethical standards to restrict the admissions staff from accepting the fees from commercial organizations. Whether the admissions officer accepts it or not seems to be only a personal choice. At the same time, when visiting high schools in the United States, admissions officers will also accept the transportation expenses of high schools.
Moreover, from my own experience, in this summer's special training camp, all students are required not to engage in behaviors beyond the scope of academic guidance with the admissions officer, such as giving gifts and obtaining WeChat from the admissions officer.
2. The application materials are fraudulent.
Reuters quoted several former Debon employees and accused Debon of cheating in writing documents for students, revising transcripts and letters of recommendation.
I don't know whether Dibang has such behavior, but I really know that there is absolutely no similar thing happening in our hearts.
Moreover, Debon donated money to an organization composed of several universities and high schools in China. The goal of this organization is to verify the authenticity of China students' application materials.
However, interestingly, Reuters quoted a foreign Dibang who was in Shenzhen before, saying, "I made up some interesting stories for students" and always used female pronouns. But as the only school in Shenzhen that cooperates with Dibang, the foreign consultant in Shenzhen is a man.
Preliminary conclusion
It is true that Debon has some misconduct in some aspects of its operation, but these behaviors are either difficult to judge right or wrong, or only come from the statements of former employees, and the accuracy of these statements is questionable. Therefore, these accusations, if you ask me, are major events at first glance, but on closer inspection, although they are really wrong, they are not major events.

Yingrui is affiliated to Dibang Bar, an international education professional service organization under Dibang Group, providing one-stop international education services for domestic students aged 9- 18. It is an old-fashioned educational institution.
How about "Lu" Dibang education?
Well, this certificate is necessary, and I know that their foreign teachers also have teacher qualification certificates! Unlike some training centers that find foreign students studying in China as foreign teachers, they have no teaching experience except their mother tongue and will only brag and hum to you.
