In order to speed up the training of practical information technology talents, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education launched the National Information Technology Application Training and Education Project (ITAT Education Project for short) in May 2000. ITAT education project is a practical information technology talent training project for the whole country, aiming at improving information literacy, cultivating hands-on ability and enhancing employment skills. Since the project was launched nine years ago, it has been widely recognized by the society for its advanced talent training concept, unique teaching methods, rich teaching resources, standardized management and strict assessment. Up to now, 98 textbooks have been compiled, 78 online teaching courseware have been developed, and more than 300 authorized bases have been established in educational and teaching institutions across the country. The training scale exceeds 2 million, and the examination certification exceeds 600,000. The overall goal of ITAT education project development is to become a practical information technology talent training project with the largest scale, the most practical training courses, the least training cost and the most reliable training quality in China, and make due contributions to the development of information industry in China.

In order to implement the policies of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on vigorously developing vocational education and strengthening the training of skilled personnel, and actively guide relevant schools to strengthen the training of practical information technology talents, the Education Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education has held an ITAT education project employment skills competition nationwide every year since 2005. The contest received strong support from the provincial education department and positive responses from participating schools all over the country. It has also been widely praised by participating teachers and students and achieved good social effects. Among them, in 2008, the fourth competition was held in 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, with 128 participating cities, 6 18 participating schools and 8180/kloc-0 participating students. After the selection of preliminaries, rematches and finals, there were 27 outstanding prizes, 552 third prizes, 82 second prizes, 42 first prizes and 8 special prizes in China. Therefore, our center will hold the 5th National ITAT Education Engineering Employment Skills Competition of Bao Zheng Education Cup from April to June, 2009. This year's competition is mainly aimed at students from ordinary colleges, higher vocational schools, secondary vocational schools and private colleges, aiming at examining students' practical ability and improving their employment competitiveness. There are nine competition subjects in the competition, including advanced application of office automation, C language programming, Java programming, Photoshop graphic design, 3DsMAX three-dimensional design, Flash animation design, AutoCAD mechanical design, AutoCAD architectural design, Dreamweaver web design, and each person is limited to one subject. The contest is divided into three stages: preliminaries, semi-finals and finals. The preliminaries are held in schools, the semi-finals are held in provinces, and the finals and awards are held in Beijing. There are grand prizes, first, second and third prizes, excellent prizes, organization prizes, Bole prizes and tutor prizes in this competition.
