The answer is almost unimaginable, including the feelings of alumni returning, the cognition of outsiders after their arrival, the sense of belonging of teachers and students, the urgency of media publicity and the cautious pursuit of school history. School is the most traditional and modern organizational system in civilized society, and culture is everything in school. It is normal to have rich answers. In my opinion, a school mainly has four elements: time, space, people and curriculum, and school culture, which are endogenous to each item and their interaction and present in four dimensions (time, space, people and curriculum).
Another colleague asked, why study? A: Because of ignorance. Because I feel more and more ignorant of education and culture, what is culture? What is the connotation of school culture? Where is the ideal education going?
In this era of "everyone has educational experience and everyone is an educator", as educators, let alone communicate with colleagues, even if they communicate with the outside world, they have not found how many people do not understand "education" in the dialogue, and even are often criticized or denied by the current situation of education.
