What's the story behind the curtain of college entrance examination reform? Qian Bao reporter interviewed the director of the Provincial Department of Education.

Liu Xiping reveals the secret: Why is the pilot in Zhejiang?

Our reporter Wang

The reform of the new college entrance examination is coordinated by the Ministry of Education, and the top-level design is carried out through "selecting qualified provinces and cities". Earlier, news of the pilot project came from relevant provinces, and Zhejiang and Shanghai were finally finalized, becoming the two pilot areas in China.

As early as the end of last year, Zhejiang has drawn up a reform plan for college entrance examination enrollment. After the national plan of the Ministry of Education is promulgated, it will be adjusted according to the national plan and then announced to the public. At that time, Liu Xiping, director of Zhejiang Education Department, said that Zhejiang was striving to become a pilot province, but it had not yet been determined.

The Ministry of Education finally chose Zhejiang. Yesterday, Liu Xiping attributed the reason to the fact that Zhejiang has a good foundation for comprehensive high school new curriculum reform and college entrance examination enrollment reform. As the saying goes, "the wind rises at the end of qingping, and gradually deepens."

Why is the pilot in Zhejiang?

Because there is a good foundation for educational reform.

This is an era that is surprisingly fast.

Two years ago, in September, Zhejiang began to fully implement the "deepening curriculum reform in senior high schools", reducing compulsory courses and increasing elective courses, giving students more choices and giving full play to their specialties and advantages.

At that time, the reporter of qianjiang evening news predicted that 10 years later, the college entrance examination reform would be matched with the new curriculum reform in senior high schools, giving students more autonomy. At that time, Liu Xiping still had some helplessness. The college entrance examination system linked with the curriculum reform in senior high schools is designed at the national level, and Zhejiang hopes to carry out the college entrance examination reform earlier at the national level.

If the college entrance examination reform is in the foreseeable future, it means that the new curriculum reform in senior high school will go a little unsteady, with one foot moving forward and one foot still in place. This situation will make parents and high school teachers worry and feel tired.

Only two years later, the national college entrance examination reform plan was released, and Zhejiang and Shanghai became the two pilot areas in the country.

Liu Xiping has arranged a timetable for Zhejiang's "gradual deepening" reform in recent years:

In 2008, Zhejiang carried out a small-scale examination subject reform for the college entrance examination. Usually test English listening, general technology and information technology. Candidates can take two exams in each subject and choose their own test scores.

In 2009, Zhejiang college entrance examination subjects were classified, and candidates could choose from three batches. The first batch of subjects, on the basis of maintaining the original "3+X" combination, add self-selected module assessment; The second batch of subjects, maintaining the original "3+X" subject combination; In the third batch of subjects, on the basis of maintaining the "exceeding the number of words" of ordinary subjects, technical subject tests are added. Candidates can choose independently and take the exam according to their own abilities.

After the implementation of this plan, Wang Jianguo, director of the Student Affairs Office of the Ministry of Education, said in a survey that "I saw hope in Zhejiang and strengthened my confidence in promoting the reform of college entrance examination".

20 1 1 Zhejiang college entrance examination enrollment took the lead in trying the "trinity" and implementing comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission.

20 12 Zhejiang began to comprehensively deepen the new curriculum reform in senior high schools, offering elective courses and shift teaching to ordinary senior high school students, reducing compulsory courses and increasing elective courses. Compulsory courses also began to be taught in different levels, and flexible time was implemented to give students more choices.

Liu Xiping explained that the design of deepening the curriculum reform in senior high school at that time was to find a variety of 1 2 3 4 for students.
