Zhao Zhouqiao, located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, China, is an ancient stone arch bridge across the Yellow River. It was built in the great cause of the Sui Dynasty (605-6 16) and took nine years to complete. According to records, this bridge was built by general Xue of Sui Dynasty, and many advanced technologies and tools were adopted in the construction process.

Zhao Zhouqiao is167m long, 9.6m wide and 7.3m high. It used 12 stone arch pier to support the whole bridge, which was a very bold and innovative design at that time.
