Beijing Municipal Education Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Education Commission) is an integral part of the municipal government. It is a bureau-level bureau with the brand of Beijing Language and Literature Working Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Language Committee). Under the centralized leadership of the Municipal Education Working Committee, there is the Education Supervision Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Education Supervision Office).

The Beijing Municipal Education Commission implements the principles and policies, decision-making arrangements and related work requirements of the CPC Central Committee on education, and adheres to and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party on education in the process of performing its duties.
