Qinghai University is located at No.251Ningda Road, Xining City, Qinghai Province. The school formerly known as Qinghai Institute of Technology was founded in 1958. 1960 1 1, merged with Qinghai College of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Qinghai Medical College and Qinghai College of Finance and Economics to form Qinghai University./kloc-0 was revoked in 969. 197 1, restore Qinghai institute of workers and peasants, and set up two major disciplines: industry and agriculture.

Qinghai Normal University is located at No.38, extension of Hu Hai Avenue, Chengbei District, Xining City, Qinghai Province. Founded in 1956, formerly known as Qinghai Normal University, 1958 was upgraded to Qinghai Normal University, and 1984 was renamed Qinghai Normal University. After 1997, Qinghai Institute of Education, Qinghai Teachers College for Nationalities, Qinghai Water Conservancy School and bank of qinghai School merged one after another to form a new Qinghai Normal University.
