Delacroix was born near Paris, England. My father participated in the French Revolution, and later served as governor-general, foreign minister and ambassador to the Netherlands. My mother is a woman with a good music education, and she has a great influence on Delacroix. Delacroix was well educated and influenced by music, with extensive knowledge, quick thinking and rich imagination.
