The Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology was founded in 1953, formally established in1979165438+10, and changed to the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology on 1988 with the name change.
After more than 60 years of accumulation and development, our institute has become an architectural design institute with strong technical force, reasonable talent structure, complete professional support, advanced design methods and advanced quality assurance system in the same industry in China. At present, it has many qualifications such as architectural engineering, building intelligent system engineering design, urban planning qualification, municipal industry specialty, landscape engineering design specialty, environmental engineering specialty, engineering consulting architecture and urban planning specialty, and cultural relics protection engineering survey and design, and has passed ISO900 1 quality system certification.
At present, China Academy of Engineering 1 person, 4 national engineering survey and design masters, 4 contemporary China architects, 8 doctoral supervisors, 47 master supervisors, China Young Architect Award winner 14, senior and above titles 109, first-class registered architects 104, and first-class registered structural engineers.

Such as China Pavilion 20 10 of Shanghai World Expo, expansion project of memorial hall for victims of Nanjing Massacre by Japanese invaders, Shaw Museum of South China University of Technology, Leshan Giant Buddha Museum, Zhuhai Airport Terminal, Tomb of Nanyue King of the Western Han Dynasty, Tianjin Museum, Qian Xuesen Library, new campus of Zhejiang University, Nanhai College of South China Normal University, Hengqin Campus of Macau University, Guangzhou University Town, West Tower of Guangzhou Pearl River New City, Metropolitan Plaza and Beijing Litong Plaza. And established five design brands: cultural Expo building, educational building, super high-rise building, sports building and exhibition building. Colleagues have also made great achievements in the architectural design and planning of rail transit hub, modern civil residence, new technology industrial park, hotel building and health industry.
Up to now, our institute has won 5 15 outstanding design awards at or above the provincial level, including 5 national gold awards, 5 silver awards 16, 5 bronze awards, Liang Sicheng architectural award 1, Liang Sicheng architectural nomination award 1, 3 Zhan Tianyou awards and Luban award/. From 1989 to 20 14, it won 40 first prizes, 59 second prizes and more than 0/00 third prizes in national excellent design, ranking first among design institutes in South China and among the best in China.
