There is no minimum requirement for the graduate school of Princeton University in the United States, but students with TOEFL score below 28 and IELTS score below 8.0 should take the English placement test, and those who fail this test should take language courses.

Take its College of Education as an example, the TOEFL application score is required to be at least 104, of which the four items of listening, speaking, reading and writing are at least 26. The minimum score for IELTS application is not less than 7.5, and the listening, speaking, reading and writing is not less than 7.5. Applicants are required to have a GRE score of less than 50% in Chinese, less than 30% in mathematics and less than 3.5 in analytical writing, so the chances of being admitted are very small.

Graduate School of College of Arts and Sciences

For example, the graduate school of the College of Arts and Sciences only accepts the TOEFL test and does not accept anything else. The college requires applicants to have a minimum TOEFL score of 80.
