Bengbu Medical College, a provincial comprehensive medical college in Anhui Province, is the first batch of units granting bachelor's and master's degrees, and the first batch of pilot universities of the National Excellent Physician Education and Training Program.

The first batch of pilot universities for the reform of postgraduate training mode of medical master's degree are the joint training units of Jinan University and Army Military Medical University, and also the pilot universities for the "5+3" reform of clinical medicine of the Ministry of Education.

Bengbu Medical College was founded in July 1958, and was aided by the former Shanghai Second Medical College (now Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical College). 1968 changed its name to Bengbu Anti-revision Medical College. /kloc-0 merged with Anhui medical college in September, 1970 and was renamed as Bengbu branch of Anhui medical college. 1June, 974, it was restored to Bengbu Medical College.
