The conclusion of educational teleology
In short, Dewey's theory of "education without purpose" does not mean that there is no goal in the process of education, but it is synonymous with his opposition to the external purpose of education in order to advocate the internal purpose of education. Although his explanation of the theory of "educational purpose" can provide us with some theoretical and practical guidance and show a new perspective to understand educational purpose, the contradiction of his theoretical argumentation and the lack of practical guidance value are enough to make us doubt the correctness and feasibility of his theory.
