The right to education is a basic right given to citizens by our constitution, and it is also the premise and foundation for citizens to enjoy other cultural education.

The right to education means that citizens have the opportunity to receive national cultural education and the right to get material help from education.

The right to education includes two basic elements:

1, all citizens have the right to go to school and receive education;

2. The state provides educational facilities, trains teachers and creates necessary opportunities and material conditions for citizens to receive education.

Specific manifestations of infringement on the right to education:

1. School-age children and adolescents are not accepted according to law, and the state, society, schools and families do not guarantee national education;

2. School-age children and adolescents have not entered school to receive compulsory education for a specified number of years;

3. In the compulsory education stage, students are charged tuition fees;

4. Parents do not allow school-age children and adolescents to receive compulsory education;

5. Schools deprive school-age children and adolescents of the right to education;

6. External factors interfere with the education of school-age children and adolescents.

Article 59 of the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and administrative regulations under any of the following circumstances:

(1) coercing or deceiving school-age children and adolescents who should receive compulsory education or dropping out of school;

(2) Illegally recruiting school-age children and adolescents who should receive compulsory education;

(3) publishing textbooks that have not been examined and approved according to law. Article 2 Relevant provisions:

(a) the state implements the nine-year compulsory education system, which is compulsory education for all school-age children and adolescents and a public welfare undertaking that the state must guarantee;

(two) the implementation of compulsory education, free of tuition and fees;
