The Central Academy of Drama is the first higher drama education institution in New China, directly under the Ministry of Education, and the highest institution of drama, film and television art education in China. On April 2nd, 1950, Mao Zedong wrote the name of the school.
The Central Academy of Drama is divided into 12 departments, and its undergraduate majors are: performance, drama, film and television director, drama, film and television art design, drama, film and television literature, drama, broadcasting and hosting, and art management. In addition, the Central Academy of Drama is also a postgraduate and doctoral program.
