The Times Higher Education World University Ranking provides an authoritative list of the best universities in the world, focusing on the research mission of universities. This ranking is the only global performance table to judge all the core tasks of research-intensive universities, including teaching (learning environment), research (quantity, income and reputation), citation (research impact), industry income (knowledge transfer) and international perspective (employees, students and research). The ranking uses 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparison. In addition to the overall ranking, we also publish 1 1 subject rankings in specific fields. We also use the rich database behind the world university rankings to publish a series of regional and thematic rankings, aiming at achieving a broader mission and providing more in-depth insights for more universities.
