Teachers are the foundation of education. Under the correct leadership of the Municipal Education Bureau, our county has always attached great importance to strengthening the construction of teachers, increasing teacher training, strengthening the rational allocation of human resources, intensifying the reform of the education and personnel system, and striving to build a team of teachers that the people are satisfied with. According to the arrangement of the meeting, the construction of teachers in our county in 2007 is briefly reported as follows:

I. Basic information

There are 6 10 schools at all levels in our county, with 27,535 students1person, faculty165,438 people, and full-time teachers 992 1 person.

Second, the main practices

(1) takes moral education as the soul and focuses on the construction of teachers' morality. Taking the "Year of Improving Teachers' Morality Construction" as an opportunity, our county conscientiously implemented the spirit of General Secretary Hu Jintao's speech at the National Excellent Teachers' Symposium, and continued to carry out teachers' moral education activities with the theme of "casting teachers' morality, cultivating teachers' morality and cultivating teachers' style", carrying forward the main theme and advocating new fashions. A large number of outstanding teachers have emerged in the county who are dedicated, innovative and willing to be the ladder of others.

(2) Give priority to education, teaching and scientific research, and give priority to learning and training. In order to strengthen the knowledge reserve and improve the humanistic quality, our county has continuously held large-area, high-density and high-level teacher training activities, carried out the "County-wide Teacher Education and Teaching Training" activities, advocated the concept of lifelong learning, and built an educational and scientific research platform to make learning a common practice. In 2007, our county organized more than 27,000 teachers to participate in various trainings such as new curriculum reform training, continuing education training, backbone teacher training, principal post training, information technology training, teaching experts and so on, which created a good learning atmosphere and made quality awareness, talent awareness, innovation awareness and competition awareness more deeply rooted in people's hearts.

(3) Pay attention to balanced development and resource allocation. In order to maintain educational equity and promote the balanced development of education, our county pays attention to the rational allocation of educational talent resources. First, strictly implement the system that all new teachers teach in weak rural schools; The second is to strengthen the efforts of urban teachers to teach in rural areas; Third, carry out various forms of activities to send teachers to the countryside; Fourthly, selecting and transporting excellent middle-level cadres from county schools to rural schools has greatly improved the education and teaching management level of rural schools.

(D) Relying on standardized management, focusing on principals. According to the requirements of "county-oriented" education management system, our county has further straightened out the relationship between education and personnel management and formulated a series of education and personnel management system documents. Centralized management of teaching staff, qualification access, setting up posts as needed, strict attendance and regular replenishment. In the implementation of management, we should rely on principals closely, give full play to their positive role, strengthen the management of principals, continuously improve the management level of principals through training, exchange and dispatch of principals, and accelerate the overall promotion of regional education.

Although some achievements have been made in the management of teachers in our county, there are still some problems such as insufficient personnel structure and aging. In the future work, we will always put the construction of teachers in an important position, people-oriented, cultivate moral ability, make every effort to build a team of teachers with noble morality, exquisite professionalism, reasonable structure and strict discipline, and do a good job in people's satisfactory education.
