What will the education of women's studies contribute to China's reform?
We also think it is very important to educate women. We should promote women's education, and our constitution clearly guarantees women's right to education. We have corresponding legislation and policies to promote women's education. Finally, I want to say that we need to raise awareness and enhance our understanding of the importance of women's education in reducing poverty. I also look forward to delegates sharing their experiences and practices in ensuring gender equality and promoting women's development in different countries.

Since 1980s, the course of women's studies has entered the platform of universities in China. Since then, the education and teaching of women's studies in colleges and universities have developed rapidly. Since 2000, more colleges and universities have offered courses on women's studies/gender studies or interdisciplinary course related to women's studies for undergraduates and postgraduates, such as Peking University, Tongji University, China Women's University, Northeast Normal University, Fudan University and Yunnan University for Nationalities. The course of women's studies has become an important way to cultivate and improve college students' gender awareness and spread gender equality between men and women.
