Why does the restructured school no longer approve the newly restructured school?
At present, with the proposal of Scientific Outlook on Development and the theory of building a harmonious socialist society, and the gradual establishment of the funding guarantee mechanism for compulsory education, the external environment and situation of the reform of the school-running system of public primary and secondary schools have undergone major changes. At the same time, in recent years, some problems have also appeared in the pilot reform of the school-running system of public primary and secondary schools in some places. For example, some places simply apply some practices of economic reform, selling and transferring public schools in compulsory education stage in the name of restructuring, some places and schools charge fees illegally in the name of restructuring, and some places and schools hold "school lieutenant colonel" and "school private classes" and implement high fees for one school and two systems. These practices have shirked the responsibility of the government, deviated from the educational purpose and the direction of school-running system reform, aroused widespread concern in society and people's dissatisfaction, and must be resolutely corrected. In order to fully implement Scientific Outlook on Development, build a harmonious socialist society, run a satisfactory education for the people, further deepen the reform of the school-running system and promote the healthy development of education, the Ministry of Education, together with relevant departments, decided to stop approving new restructured schools from June 5, 2006 to October 38, 2006, and asked all localities to clean up and rectify existing restructured schools.
