Development history
The development history of "digital campus" can be traced back to the last century. The construction of digital campus abroad originated from 1990, a large-scale scientific research project named "Information Campus Project" initiated and presided over by Kenis Green, a professor at Claremont University in the United States. Large-scale informatization construction in China universities mostly started in the 1990s and developed rapidly. In the Action Plan of Education Revitalization Facing 2 1 Century, it is proposed and emphasized that information technology should be used to promote education reform. China's "Digital Campus" was put forward on the basis of this educational reform concept. In the subsequent practice of digital campus construction, the concept of digital campus has been gradually expanded and improved.
