History of Xinyuan Middle School
When the Xiong family offered sacrifices to their ancestors (1833- 1894), they already had the financial resources to make most children concentrate on their studies. The first special family education institution "Xinyuan Hall" was established, and a part of the profits was extracted from the family public property every year to reward children who worked hard and succeeded in exams. 190 1 year, the first outstanding bear of Xiong's "Yu" generation (whose genealogy name is Yu Hua) contacted his cousins Xiong Yuxi, Xiong, Xinjian Xia Jingguan, Cai Gongzhan, Gao Anzou and others, and established a school to study western practical disciplines. With the consent of his family, he borrowed the "Pingyuan Family School" of Bears on the East Lake in Nanchang as the school site.

One year after the "Lequn School" was founded, Xiong Yuankai (1879- 1906), the main founder, left his post (taking part in the reform of the imperial examination and becoming the last Xie Yuan in Jiangxi history; Visiting Yan Fu in Beijing; Back to Jiangxi to establish Jiangxi Commercial Railway Company and build Nanxun Line; In Shanghai, I participated in the reconstruction of Fudan University in Wusong with Yan Fu. Go to Japan to inspect railways, etc. Died young due to illness, only 27 years old). All affairs of the school are presided over by Xiong Yuxi, the former director.

After Xiong Yuxi took over Lequn School, it was changed to "Nanchang Xiongshi Private Xinyuan English School" on 1903, becoming the earliest private middle school in Jiangxi. 1907 was renamed as Xinyuan Middle School, and 19 12 was renamed as Nanchang Xiongshi Private Xinyuan Middle School.

Now it is the Aiguo Road Campus of the Middle School Attached to Nanchang No.2 Middle School Education Group.
