When the Xiong family offered sacrifices to their ancestors (1833- 1894), they already had the financial resources to make most children concentrate on their studies. After Xiong Yuxi took over Lequn School, it was changed to "Nanchang Xiongshi Private Xinyuan English School" on 1903, becoming the earliest private middle school in Jiangxi. 1907 was renamed as Xinyuan Middle School, and 19 12 was renamed as Nanchang Xiongshi Private Xinyuan Middle School.

Now it is the Aiguo Road Campus of the Middle School Attached to Nanchang No.2 Middle School Education Group.
