1. Mud is crushed by the weight of the whole body. Lift the clay ball with your left hand, turn it over, push it with your right hand, and repeat the actions of lifting, rolling and pushing rhythmically.

2. Pay attention to the fact that the mud mass has formed a spiral, and repeat these actions slowly. The small hole formed in the center will disappear if you continue to knead.

3. With the kneading, a cone is gradually formed.

Blanking forming

1. Throw the clay ball down on the turntable with both hands and try to land in the center of the turntable. Wet dough and hands with water.

2. Press hard with the right hand from top to bottom, and push hard with the left hand to the center of the mud mass. Repeat, and then pull up the post.

3. When the mud column reaches a proper height, you don't need to move your hands, but put your thumb on the top of the mud column to center it. Keep your thumb level and tidy up the upper part of the mud column.

4. Start pulling the bowl. Lift the thumb of the left hand and keep the other hand shapes in the original position.

5. After opening the hole, add some water in it to ensure lubrication.

6. It is estimated that the bowl shape will pull the right amount of mud. Put your right index finger and left thumb inside at a certain angle, push them to the middle and open the mouth a little wider. Pay attention to control the appearance with both hands.

7. Mark the bottom edge of the bowl blank with your thumb nail.

8. Keep your left hand still, slowly lift your right hand upward, and make the bowl blank thinner and taller with your thumb, middle finger and forefinger at the same time.

9. Suck the water out of the bowl with a sponge.

10. Hold the silk thread with the left hand, and tighten the other end of the silk thread with the thumb and forefinger of the right hand. With the rotation of the billet puller, the left end of the silk thread is placed on the disc, and the right hand pulls the silk thread parallel to the disc surface to wind the mud column.

The second type

Clay bar modeling (taking pen container as an example)

1. Use clay balls of different sizes with both hands and palms.

2. Put the clay ball on the plastic cloth. Roll the clay ball with the fingertip of one hand and knead it into a clay strip.

3. Move your hands back and forth to make Dorobou thinner and longer. Pay attention to how your hands and thumbs cross together to stabilize your hands.

4. Keep your hands in the same posture and action and move along the mud bar to get the ideal length.

5. After all the mud strips are kneaded, make one of them into a spiral shape and make it into the bottom of a straight tube.

6. Grind the helicoid from the outside to the middle with a wooden plastic knife to make it adhere.

7. Press the bottom surface of the cylinder with a scraper. Draw the area where the first circle of clay bars will be bonded with a pottery needle.

8. Apply mud to the notch. Describe the first mud stick.

9. Put the Dorobou on the bottom of the cylinder, and the length of the Dorobou should be equal to or slightly greater than the circumferential length.

10. Use a scraper to cut off excess mud strips at a certain angle. This is better than cutting the mud bar vertically, which can make the joint surface of the two ends of the mud bar larger.

1 1. Stick the mud stick on the inner wall of the straight tube with a round plastic knife.

12. After the interior wall is leveled, smooth the exterior wall in the same way.

13. Repair the external wall with a scraper with serrated edges, and the scraper should be upright.

14. Continue to add mud bars. In order to avoid cracking during drying, the joints between mud bars should not be on the same vertical line.

15. Trim the bevel of the outer edge of the cylinder bottom with the bevel edge of the serrated scraper. After all the Dorobou is bonded, scrape it again with a serrated scraper and set aside to dry.

The third kind

Mud board molding (taking decorative wall as an example)

1. Put the mud stick on the canvas and press it with your thumb.

2. Put a piece of wood with a thickness of 10mm along both sides of the mud. Flatten with a roller to form a clay board.

3. Prepare several clay tablets as needed.

4. Support the clay board with wooden boards to keep it vertical.

5. Draw the position of the window on the wall and hollow it out with a meat cleaver.

6. Cut out the shape of the window with a carving knife, embed the window into the reserved position on the wall and bond it with mud.
