Legal basis: Article 76 of the Education Law of the People's Republic of China. If a school or other educational institution enrolls students in violation of the relevant provisions of the state, the education administrative department or other relevant administrative departments shall order it to return the enrolled students, give a warning to the school or other educational institution, and may concurrently impose a fine of less than five times the illegal income. If the circumstances are serious, it shall be ordered to stop the relevant enrollment qualifications for more than one year and less than three years until the enrollment qualifications are revoked and the school license is revoked. If the case constitutes a crime, it shall be punished according to law.
