Candidates applying for CMA exam need to register as IMA members first. Members are mainly divided into professional members, student members and teacher members, and candidates can choose according to their actual situation.

3. Make an appointment for the test center

After the payment is successful, you need to log in to Prometric official website to make an appointment for the time and place of the exam after obtaining the examination authorization.

It should be noted that after successfully registering for the exam, candidates need to use the exam authorization number to make an appointment at Prometric Puwen Examination Center. After the appointment is successful, they usually receive an email from IMA within one week before the exam. An authorization number corresponds to an exam.

Step 4 take the exam

Candidates need to arrive at the test center 30 minutes before the exam. Those who are late for more than 15 minutes will not be able to take the exam, so they need to re-register for the exam and pay the exam fee again later. Candidates who take the exam must bring a valid ID card/officer's card/passport and admission ticket. Student ID card, social security card, bank debit card, other people's credit card and household registration book cannot be used as candidates' identification.

In April 2023, there were 40 test sites for CMA Chinese test, namely: Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Chengdu, Xi 'an, Qingdao, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Dalian, Nanjing, Kunming, Jinan, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hefei, Chongqing, Changsha, Nanchang, Lanzhou, Taiyuan, Shenyang, Xiamen, Harbin and Taiyuan.

You can choose to make an appointment with your best test center. Of course, CMA test sites should be based on the information published by IMA.

Note: Due to the written test of CMA Chinese exam, the address on the confirmation letter is not the final address. The final exam address will be displayed on the admission ticket later and the candidates will be notified by email.
