Apply for qualification
You need a degree to apply for a chef's license. Technical secondary school students or any social worker with intermediate skills of chef level 4 can apply for the exam. Students with three-level senior chef skills, college degree or above or bachelor degree can apply for the exam. Anyone who has graduated from college and worked as a chef's second-class technician for 4 years or obtained a chef's third-class professional qualification certificate for 5 years can apply for the certificate.
A nationally recognized chef certificate.
Only by passing the chef level examination of the Labor Bureau can you obtain the nationally recognized chef certificate. Some chef training institutions also issue chef certificates, but that can only prove that you have been trained, but it can't prove that when you learn to cook, the level of chefs is divided into chefs and pastry chefs.
Self-study examination process
Chef certificate can teach yourself. Candidates who meet the requirements for registration can take the chef's license exam by bringing relevant information to the local labor and technical department for registration. The application conditions of junior chef's certificate include: receiving formal primary training in this occupation, reaching the required standard hours, obtaining a graduation certificate, and practicing in this occupation for more than 2 years.
