What nursing operations are there in gastrointestinal surgery?
The most commonly used nursing operations in gastrointestinal surgery include gastrointestinal decompression, enema, and of course skin preparation and catheterization. Other operations, such as oxygen inhalation and sputum aspiration, are common in elderly cancer patients in gastrointestinal surgery, so it is also a very basic requirement to help elderly patients pat their backs to promote sputum excretion. Nurses in our department should organize such training regularly.
