He has served as a teacher in the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Section of Xiangya Medical College of Central South University, secretary of the English Training Center of the Ministry of Health, manager of the translation and international engineering services department of China Hunan International Economic and Technical Cooperation Company, project manager of the Far East Institution of Singapore, assistant to the director of Liuyang National Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and vice chairman of the 7th Committee of Liuyang CPPCC. From May to October, 2008, he also served as an independent director of He Shan Intelligent Co., Ltd. Currently, he is the assistant to the President of Hunan Institute of Science and Technology Research and Development, the deputy director, researcher and professor of economics of Hunan Institute of Economic Geography, the executive deputy director of Hunan Overseas Students Pioneer Park, and the member of the 9th, 10th and 11th CPPCC of Hunan Province.
