Zhao, male 1974, was born in Mangzhuang Village, Caidian Township, Ruyang County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. Member of China Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood, Vice President of Mei Wei School Paper-cutting. Zhejiang Jinhua Paper-cut Association is the only foreign member. Paper-cutting is a descendant of the family, and Luoyang paper-cutting is a non-genetic inheritor. Zhao's great-grandmother Liu, grandmother and mother Meng all like paper-cutting. Zhao was exposed to paper-cutting since he was a child, and he also learned to cut some paper flowers.
In 2006, he was a student of Feng Wang (now 97 years old) in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, and graduated from Jinhua University for the Aged (Paper-cutting Department) in 2009. 20 16 studied under Tao, the founder of paper-cutting art school. His works have won many awards in national competitions. Many works are collected by museums at home and abroad.
Zhao's personal experience:
1993, in order to improve the paper-cutting skills, Zhao Shi studied painting and calligraphy from farmer painter Zhang Renyi. In 2006, I went to work in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, and studied under Mr. Feng Wang, the first barber in Jinhua. In 2009, Zhao was admitted to Jinhua University for the Aged, majoring in paper-cutting, and studied under Professor Ouyang. 20 12, went to Jiangsu to study modern paper-cutting art with Zheng Tao, the founder of Mei Wei School of Painting.
Zhao Yi Road deeply studied paper-cutting, combined traditional paper-cutting with aesthetic paper-cutting, created a unique paper-cutting vision, and made contributions to the art of paper-cutting. Zhao's paper-cut works have a wide range of themes, including paper-cutting, paper carving and paper tearing. From the perspective of subject matter, there are long-standing historical stories and wonderful myths and legends.
Zhao's paper-cut works skillfully use large pieces and thin lines in art, and make good use of sawtooth patterns and crescent patterns. They are neat and bold, and cut out rough and delicate, simple but not monotonous, rich in texture and vivid artistic effects.
